Marketing Coordinator/Designer
The Marketing Coordinator/Designer will be a key member of the Marketing and Communications team, helping to promote consistent branding across the KIPP New Jersey and KIPP Miami regions by assisting in driving our marketing efforts forward, developing and creating marketing materials to promote our vision and mission. Essential Functions
 
Here you’ll get to:
· Create original and inspiring content that helps tell the KIPP NJ stories through various mediums
· Provide design and creative expertise to all marketing content including email, social, digital, advertising, packaging and print collateral
· Maintain and support the development of the KIPP New Jersey and KIPP Miami brands
· Support production of annual report and other large-scale projects like regional events and marketing campaigns
· Work with teams for light video filming and editing
· Manage website updates for KIPP NJ and KIPP Miami
· Field creative requests and deliver assets within specified timelines
· Own special projects as needed
Department Support
· Coordinate with select vendors
· Update and maintain shared resource folder
· Coordinate department budget
· Update and maintain department databases
· Assist with strategic decisions with respect to marketing efforts
 
Must Haves
· 4-6 years’ experience in marketing, advertising, or graphic design

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
· Outstanding organizational and time management skills and meticulous attention to detail
· Highly proficient using Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dream Weaver, etc.) or other design software
· Strong understanding of brand development and integrated marketing campaigns
· Strong understanding of design, photography, typography, color and layouts
· Ability to proactively prioritize among competing goals and to initiate process improvements
· Experience with web design Content Management Systems (CMS) a plus
· Strong analytical skills
· Familiarity with social media platforms
· Excellent computer skills, including MS Office Suite
· Demonstrated ability to work well with others, build relationships across teams, and manage multiple stakeholders
· Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, and to meet and complete multiple deadlines and tasks
· Experience with Final Cut Pro X, Adobe After Effects
